Our product manager chooses only those fruits that have a process of growth and ideal maturation. Pistachios have been collected in a careful manner, keeping humidity and temperature conditions necessary until the time of processing to ensure excellent quality fruit and the essence of the natural flavor of pistachio.
Processing
Thanks to our team of processors and the most advanced machinery, processing tasks are carried out within a minimum period so that the product is maintained in optimum conditions of humidity and temperature, thus ensuring the quality of our pistachios.

Quality
We are aware of the need to provide products that meet the needs of the most demanding customers. Pistachos del Sol has a foundational objective and priority cultivation, selection, processing, packaging and distribution of pistachios of exceptional quality with better organoleptic properties offering the best service possible. Production areas have a climate that is semi-dry, Mediterranean, with long droughts and constant rains in autumn and winter summers. They grow in the plains between 600 and 700 m above sea level.
The most common variety we can find growing is Kerman, reaching 95% of the total. Their resistance to drought and special color and aroma are features difficult to find in pistachios from other sources, making them exceptional.
Our pistachios are rich in protein, oil and vitamins; also they contain nitrogenous components. Pistachios from these lands are a real luxury and their quality outweigh the rest of world production, for their important contended organic ingredients that give it flavor and smell so irresistibly intense. Thanks to this content of organic oils and essences they are also some of the most popular pistachios for preparing dishes as well as different types of drinks.
Packing
In order to meet the different needs of our customers, Pistachos del Sol offers a variety of packaging options: Bulk (Big Bags, sacks), cardboard boxes, bags, etc.
We also have the possibility of vacuum-packing, which enable us to supply our pistachios in optimal conditions, anywhere in the world.

Pistachios are a rich source of energy: 100 g of pistachios contain 557 calories. In addition, rich fatty acids are mono-unsaturated such as oleic acid and an excellent source of antioxidants. Regular consumption of pistachios reduces bad cholesterol and increases levels of good cholesterol.
Pistachios are an excellent source of vitamin E, especially rich in gamma tocopherol, which is a soluble antioxidant powerful lipid, essential to maintain the integrity of the cell membrane of mucous membranes and skin, protecting against harmful free radicals.
Pistachios are filled with many important B-complex groups of vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6 and folate.
These nuts are the source of minerals such as copper, manganese, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium. 100 g of pistachios provide 144% of daily intake levels recommended copper. Copper is an essential for optimal functioning of neurotransmitters trace element metabolism and the synthesis of red blood cells (RBC).
